Financial Literacy

Dream Home Organization Financial Counseling Service promotes financial literacy. We believe that financial education creates choice and the opportunity to build a financial future.

We provide workshops for all age groups, tailored to the needs of your group. We can deliver these programs to community groups, classrooms, churches, employers, and more.

Financial Education Workshops
Usually 1-2 hours per topic. Here is a sampling of individual workshops we offer:

  • Money management and money personality
  • Consumer protection and identity theft
  • Finding money to start saving and investing
  • Living on reduced income during transitions
  • Building good credit to improve your score

Usually 8 hours total (once a month on Saturday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM) using the Four Cornerstones of Financial Literacy curriculum

  • Budgeting to create savings
  • Debt reduction and asset building
  • Improving your credit
  • Consumer protection and financial institutions
